Stitch Fix #4 and an engagement!

Ahhh I know I am way behind on posting, but I have some very exciting news! I received my 4th Stitch Fix AND Steve and I got engaged!!! I know you're dying to hear how it all went down, but let me first tell you what I got in my 4th Stitch Fix. If you don't know what Stitch Fix is, feel free to read this post or go to their website. I asked for something I could possibly wear for a few holiday parties I had coming up. Zoe, my stylist for my last 3 fixes, sent me a necklace, black skinny jeans, a dress, a blouse, and a cardigan.

I usually take pictures of everything, but all the pictures I took when I was trying everything on were bad selfies in my messy room. So this time I will just show you the things kept :)

Pixley Calrly Multi-Stone Layering Necklace

I was happy when I saw this necklace in my fix. The first necklace I received in my first fix was way to chunky and big. I told them I like more simple accessories and this was just perfect! I don't wear a lot of accessories so I was happy to add this to my wardrobe.

Market and Spruce Carly Graphic Print Cardigan

I immediately loved this cardigan when I pulled it out of the box. I've seen these cozy graphic cardigans from other people's fixes and was so pleased I got one for myself! I wore it to my work's holiday dinner with the necklace above. And there's Steve, my new fiance!!!

I only kept two things this time. The jeans I got needed to be one size up (ugh too much holiday food) and the blouse was pretty, but I already had something similar. The dress I received was beautiful. I would of kept it but as I was trying it on, the zipper got snagged in the fabric. After hours of fiddling with it, I contacted Stitch Fix and they were so great and accommodating! They said they could send me a new one, offer a 15% discount on it, or just return it with no extra cost. In the end, I decided to return the dress because I was afraid it would happen again (me and zippers just don't get along). I was so pleased with the service Stitch Fix provided which is another reason why I love them!

So besides the excitement of a new Stitch Fix, I have more exciting news. On December 12, 2014, Steve surprised me and proposed. I went to his condo right after work to get ready for a holiday party. I had just chowed down on some fettuccine Alfredo and I was still in my scrubs after a long day of work. Out of nowhere, Steve got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was so shocked and thrown off, I forgot to answer him! Of course, I said yes! It was perfect. I couldn't ask for a better person to spend my life with. My fiance is kind, loving, and so very handsome.

Steve picked out the ring himself with no help from me. It's the prettiest ring I've ever seen and it's Rolo-approved ;)

The fun starts now!

I asked to receive another fix this month for fun (Thank you Ang, for the referral credit and the gift card<3) so I'll post #5 soon. If you would like to try Stitch Fix yourself, feel free to use my referral link
